We, in France (like in whole Europe) had an analog network, a while ago, but I only knew its "business" name, not the standard name. I have NO friggin idea WTF he wanna do with his phone. Some people think programming a phone is changing the alpha tag on a TDMA phone. Others will think more to mobile BASIC programming etc. Now, we know that the OP wants to write a game for his phone. Java commands may differ according to standard because the features/specs are different. TDMA can recv SMS from the internet AFAIK (not sure)....whereas with GSM its all OverTheAir technology only. Before trying to snipe me, pls read the whole thread.
