6600 playing 7650 games downloaded from NOKIA site

I downloaded the 4 games that come with the 7650 from NOKIA's support pages
for that phone. They installed (as expected) normally on my 6600 but I have
a strange issue.
Sound cannot be heard on Bounce and Space Impact. Bounce actually becomes
extremely slow and unplayable when I set the sound on from the game's
settings. Space Impact does an initial sound when I fire the weapon and then
it goes mute as well. Triple Pop plays the sound well.

All games play normally except for these strange sound issues. Has anyone
else noticed that too?

The 6600 runs Symbian v7, whereas 7650 is Symbian v6. Although most apps
are binary-compatible, there are some differences. Ideally, you need apps
that have been recompiled for Symbian v7.

so you assume an application for one phone should run on
a totally different phone just like that?
