nokia 8910, How do I remove the sliding titanium cover?

The phone is giving me problems, I think the metallic contacts inside the
actual sliding titanium cover need cleaning because callers cannot hear me
sometimes, or say my voice is sounding all ly !!
How do I remove the sliding cover... help
... or is there a site you canpoint me to ?
