UK: International SMS scam! (international SMS charges)

Posted: 10-02-2003, 09:32 PM
Hi

I received a voicemail from Vodafone (Singlepoint) telling me that all SMS
to non UK phones has doubled in price!

And, that they will charge me this price for last month aswell, even though
they didn't tell me that the price had changed!!!

I have ended my contract and cancelled all Direct Debits because I don't
think it is fair to tell me now, and charge me for last month aswell!

What do you guys think? Sounds like a rip-off to me!

Maybe you haven't sent any texts to non-UK mobiles.

Phil.
