You want to convert a midi to a poly midi? Ok done, all midis are poly
midis. If you need a specific number of chords then that's a different
story. Nokia for example includes a convertor with it's sw for a 6610
and other models that use that 4 chord midis.

I have quite a few MIDI's and have managed to get 1 converted to a ringtone
via wap, others are either too big or not supported, or soun rubbish! What
specific qualities must my MIDI's have to work as a ringtone, and can I
convert existing midi's to this criteria to make them work?!

Thanks,

Tom.

It depends on your phone model. Of the 3650 you don't have to do
anything...

You might, however most MIDI files are less than 40-track.
Series 60 phones, 7650/3650 use standard MIDI files or SPMIDI files.
Series 40 phones, 7210, 5100, 6100 etc all use 4-track SPMIDI files.
Nokia Sound Converter will convert any MIDI to a useable SPMIDI, you select
the 4 tracks you wish to use, set the order you want them to play in, and
voila. Sound converter cuts the other tracks out to reduce size.

that's a series 30 phone... Not too sure about it there, I would assume
4-track due to hardware.
