Well, there really is no place to get a free full version copy, but their
site www.oxygen.net (I think) has a downloadable demo version.

Mate, DON'T buy OPM2. They lock the application to your phones IMEI
via a code.
The license is a ripoff. You get support for 1 year only. What this
means is that if you change your phone after 1 year, (who doesn't?)
you will have to PAY to get another code.
Don't buy it!

Indeed, when buying a license, you're buying a year of free updates and
technical support (including free change of phones and new phones
registration). So you are able to have all the latest versions with new
useful features for your Nokia phones. Also you can change your phones at
absolutely no charge during this year. After a year pass, you are able to
continue using your actual license with your phones registered on it, or
renew the license for a small price and get another year of free updates and
technical support!
Let's take Individual license as an example and clarify some moments. You
paid 39Euro for a product + 1 year of updates and technical support. "One
phone" limitation doesn't mean you can use the program with only one phone.
It means that you can *write data to one phone at every point of time*. So
if you decide to change your phone during this year, it will be no problem
and you won't pay any additional money for this.
After 1 year you can continue using the product with the last registered
phone as long as you want. Renewal price of 12.95Euro allows you to get one
more year of upgrades and technical support. If it would be more simple for
you, the
license cost formula is
License = Product + Updates&Support
Where "Product" is one-time payment; "Updates&Support" - regular yearly
payment.
Of course, after the support period is up, and the customer has no use nor
wish for newer versions and thus no wish to pay for it, they're still
locked and won't be able to use the product even if they change to a phone
that's already supported by the version they got while under support. So
the equation would be more like License = Product + Updates&Support -
ability to switch phone to another supported phone after 1 year unless
adding another + Updates&Support.
Luckily, I live in a country where I'm legally entitled to remove
artificial limitations like that from a product I've purchased. I haven't
purchased O2 as of yet (had some fun with the trial version and was gonna
buy the full one, but after not using the trial version for a few months I
realized maybe I didn't really have any need for it), but at least I know
that this particular practise by Oxygen won't affect me personally if I do.

So, it'd be the case with DVD dezoning too ? Just 'cause I'm curious, where
do you live ?

Yep. The industry was unable to force a law to prohibit it, but they did
manage to outlaw selling anything but R2 releases in stores. A law most
(but not all) stores obey. It's cheaper to order from abroad (and, of
course, legal) than to buy in a local store anyways though so obviously it
wasn't a very effective move.
