I had this also, but only after changing networks. Problem in the UK was O2
do not support nokia's delivery reports, so the software doesn't ever
discover if the message has been sent - when I was with T-mobile this wasn't
a problem, so obviuosly they do support this. Not sure about other networks
though. Nokia tech support confirmed this to me.

With O2, you can also type *0# at the start of a message to get an
acknowledgement, but this is sent as a text message, rather than a delivery
receipt, so still won't allow the software to discover if the message has
been sent. However, you then know it has, and can manual delete it from your
outbox - otherwise it sends the message repeatedly!

Thanks for your suggestion.

Sending messages directly from the phone works fine, so none of the
three suggestions below can be the problem...?

Cheers, Gunnar
