LG has announced another cellular phone that will enter the Chinese 3G market, this time, coming as a Voyager-style flip phone. The LG KV920 is actually said to be the LG Voyager itself, which is available in the US under Verizon Wireless, though we can’t deny it as well judging from its design and features.
This device has two 2.8-inch WQVGA displays: one is on the external touch screen, while the other would be revealed as you horizontally flip the phone. Opening this handset would also show the full QWERTY keyboard; and to complete this LG KV920 are 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and music player.
With already two 3G phones released by LG for China (the other one is the LG KT878), LG also plans on releasing three or perhaps four more TD-SCDMA devices this 2009 and 10 more in 2010. This LG KV920 will actually be available under China Telecom, but exact release date and pricing is not yet revealed.
