The Motorola Rival A455 has been around the web for quite some time now, and finally, this device will go on sale this June. There’s actually nothing so exciting about this handset, and we’ve been telling that it would seem to cater to the younger individuals because of its rather cartoonish look.
This is actually a messaging phone that comes complete with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a 2.2-inch 176 x220 pixels display, an external touch dial pad, built-in GPS, a 2-megapixel camera, 1X EV-DO connectivity support, and a microSD card support. Basically, this is a mid-end messaging device that’s not just for the youngsters but also for those who are simply addicted to messaging.
The Motorola Rival A455 will only cost for $99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. Otherwise, this device is not that cheap and will retail for $269. Exact date for this release will be on June 10, and of course, it will be under Verizon Wireless.
