Acer has announced the availability of the DX900 and the X960, two smartphones in its Tempo lineup featuring five touchscreen devices originally announced at Mobile World Congress in February.
The DX900 is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM networks. The smartphone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and features a 2.8-inch VGA (480 x 640 pixels) touchscreen display, a 3 megapixel autofocus camera and WiFi.
The X960 is a similar GSM device without the dual-SIM option. It is powered by a widget-based Windows Mobile operating system and features a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, a GPS chipset, and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Both devices are currently available in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia Pacific markets.
