Motorola Announces Dual Mode GSM / Wi-Fi Phone

Motorola announced three new phones today, The A910 is based on the E895's form factor and next generation software, which the company just announced at JavaOne. While the A910 maintains the same feature list and even the same size, it packs a big data surprise: 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi in addition to Bluetooth and tri-band GSM/GPRS (EDGE). The phone also includes UMA for seamless roaming between Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Features include a 1.3 MP camera with Lumi-LED flash, TransFlash memory card slot, QVGA screen and speaker-independent voice recognition.

Motorola announced one model for US and two models for Chinese markets. The A732 is a slider-style handset with a transductive keypad which allows you to press numbers or write English letters or Chinese characters over the whole surface with your finger. Motorola previously launched a phone with this keypad in a clamshell design. The A728 is the latest incarnation of the tai chi Linux-based smartphone with touchscreen.

Seems like a great phone though my personal preference is Nokia... any idea about its cost? Tho
