The Sony Ericsson S312 is a low end camera phone that the Swedish Japanese company has just recently announced, which is as well part of their Snapshot series. There's actually nothing so interesting and new about this device only that it will surely be a decent camera phone for those on a budget.
It features illuminated camera shortcuts on the keypad and also a dedicated video camera key, letting you snap or record a video with just a click. A 2 megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom may be very low but it is actually enough for a low end device and for taking somewhat good quality images. You can turn it horizontally to get a real feel of a digital camera. This will also have picture blogging which you can upload your images to the web.
Aside from that this is also complete with 2 inch 176x220 pixels display screen, music player with equalizer, stereo widening and TrackID software, Bluetooth, FM Radio with RDS and even 3D gaming. It comes equipped with 15MB of internal memory that could be expanded via memory stick Micro M2 cards.
It is expected to hit the market sometime around the second quarter of the year in Dawn Blue and Honey Silver color choices.
