LG Announces GM200 Candybar Phone

LG has revealed a third phone from their GM Series bearing the model number LG GM200. It comes as a simple multimedia phone which will probably cater to those who are looking for an affordable handset with enough features to make it not too boring.



Although it looks like a simple candybar handset, this holds solid multimedia features which include Dolby Mobile technology and built-in FM antenna for a better radio experience even without the use of a headset. This also comes with music and video players, speakerphones and background noise sensor, which automatically adjusts the volume that is suitable to what’s going on your background.

The screen display is also enough at 2 inches with 176 x 220 pixels and 262k colors. It is complete with GSM/GPRS connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 2-megapixel camera with video recording and 30MB of internal memory with support for microSD card slot.

The LG GM200 will retail at €110 or $148 starting this May in Ukraine and perhaps it will also arrive to other European markets soon.
