Motorola C261 Display Problems!

I got a motorola C261 and there are 2 problems i am having!

1. I want to remove the operator logo and the date from the home screen... which i am unable to find any option!

2. Secondly I want to see see a demo of the wallpaper in full screen! which is shown in only half part of the screen!

Both of these features are available in Motorola C168 which is inferior to C261!

and plz let me know if i can get some applications for this set!
