Old motorola Meteor bag phone

Meteor bag phone and it's locked. I just recently acquired this unit so
that I can go fishing and still have connectivity.
If anyone has any information on how to unlock, reprogram and use this
unit, I would be grateful.
I would also like to know if there are any cellular carriers in Western
Canada that would offer service for this type of analog unit.
Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
