Motorola PEBL U6 Phone

V3. I like the latter, but mine is one of those defective ones that
periodically turns itself off in the middle of a call. (I understand
Motorola has ackowledged the defect, but given that I currently am
posted overseas I can't get it serviced or replaced easily.)
Has anyone had any such negative experience with the Motorola PEBL U6?
I'd hate to spend the money to replace my phone only to end up with
similar problems.
Also, does it take the same battery charger as the V3? I couldn't
tell from the pix online.
