I have a v3 razr on the T mobile network. I go by the pre paid route. I'd
like to be able to acess the net but with the prepaid route you can't. How
ever you can acess the T moblie site and thru their portal you can get a
selct few sites ESPN, ABC news and a couple others. The question is ......Is
the net acess limited by the phones software or is Tmobile closing the door
at the network level?

Network level. You could try installing the Opera Mini Browser and see
if that helps though.

I've attempted this myself. You will need to install Opera as a Java
component application. So far, I've tried to do this with no success.
There are program that will allow you to directly access the Java
setting, and I'm still working on this solution.
