RAZR V3c phonebook broke (cannot edit, doesn't recognize incoming numbers in the phonebook)

Tried removing the battery already (for 30+ secs), no such luck.. I
guess I'll have to delete and re-add all my numbers

I wonder if it might be something like ringtones or something getting
deleted? Like, if the numbers had ringtones assigned, and they were then
deleted. Or maybe a display picture, and it dies trying to display the
picture that's no longer available.

If that's a possibility, you could try putting in some dummy data for an
entry that doesn't work, and see if it fixes it.

Are you running out of memory? Try deleting some old text messages, MMS
etc.
