V3 antenna jack?

jack and it seems to be flimsy, loose and possibly subject
to damage, a problem created by V3 design. I've been careful
to not push the plug in too far.
1) How do you prevent the plug from falling out?
2) How do you keep this connection clean and undamaged?
3) Since the tiny plug delivered with the V3 that protects
the jack is too hard to insert and remove frequently, is
there an alternate way to protect the hole from gathering
dirt when the external antenna is not in use?
