Is there a way to turn up the speaker volume beyond 7 on this phone?
Sometimes the volume just isn't enough for me.
TIA,

You can do that by adjusting the gains table with Motokit or a similar
program. Read the Noob guides at www.motox.info
You can get Motokit and other programs there too. You'll need a USB
cable.

OK, I got motokit, my USB cable and installed a big driver package on my win
XP machine.
Seems no matter which of the six USB ports I plug up to, it says cannot
connect to phone. The motokit help files are in Indian or Pakistan language
even though I selected English at the install.
Any idea what is wrong?

Install the P2k 2.9 driver pack, available at motox.net or
motomodders.net. First, uninstall the drivers for the phone in device
manager (under ports). When you plug in the phone make sure it uses the
new drivers by selecting the driver file manually. You might also try
installing P2kCommander. After installing that package I think you'll
find Motokit works fine.
