Thanks, I didn't see them on the other page. I thought the command
language files would be included in the language pack.

I'd like to use the MXLP0001 and the VST files you pointed out
together. They don't seem to be grouped on the same page. Will they
still work all right together?

I grabbed a copy of P2kComander. Will it be obvious where the new VST
files go?

Rather than giving you piecemeal info and risking leaving something out,
please read this thread:
http://www.motox.info/showthread.php?t=9829 for a detailed guide.

I read quite a bit on "The Moto Guide" and several sticky notes on
MotoX's forum, including the one you mentioned on voice command
restoration. Good reading, thanks.

I'm not going to rush into this. I'll get the programs installed
tomorrow night and then start the upgrades. I'm probably going to flash
the MXLP0001 language pack and then upgrade the 0001 voice commands
after that.

That's the way I did it too. Once it was all done my voice dial success
rate went way up.

I flashed the MXLP0001 US language pack and installed the 0001 US VST
files tonight. It made a world of difference for me, too.

I used to get the "Name Dial" command correct about 60% of the time, and
then get "Caller Name" correct about 30% of the time, but I only got the
"Home" versus "Mobile" choice correct about 1 out of 20 times. That
added up to pretty bad odds for getting all three correct in a row. It
was something amusing to play with on trips though.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
