!@#$% MPT Software

Posted: 01-27-2006, 02:47 AM
Now that I have an i-Pod, I know it is in fact possible to synch Outlook
calendars without a rise in blood pressure. It actually takes less than one
minute. My attempts to synch my V551 using MPT have become increasingly
frustrating. As someone else here has stated, if you look at it wrong the
software malfunctions. I am tired of attempting to do updates. I have a
dialup account so downloads may take all night. My latest update seems to
have made it even less reliable, if that is possible. I am running 3.30 at
this point. Is there some alternative???

Works fine here.

Check for local free Wi-Fi (e.g., public library).

If you are using mutliple USB ports, you may have to reconfigure every
time you inadvertently switch ports. I haven't had any trouble since I
started using only the one port each time.

I use the same USB port each time, so that doesn't explain my problems.
