V525 Problem!!!!

I have a problem connecting my V525 to my Pc. When I connect the phone
to my PC the Windows cannot recognize my cable or phone. The cable is
listed as "Unknown device" in my "Universal serial bus controllers" in
Device Manager section.
I have all the proper software needed, original CD from Motorola.
Please help!!!!!!!
