Moto V220 quad band?

will work OK. I've ordered a Cingular card from an eBay seller in the
US, so that part is done.
The V220 is sold as a quad band in the US. I've unlocked the phone
with SmartClip, but the SmartMoto software only seems to have an
option to *change* the band, not *add* a new frequency.
Have read messages about "P2K" and "flex" and "flash"- but these are
mostly way over my head. Can anyone help please?
