I am sorry, I just got another Razr from Cingular for another family member and as an end result it will only cost me $26 (let's see: immediate half price off, $25 update/upgrade wave, and a $50 rebate visa card) after all the rebates and stuff. I know it is locked and I may unlock it but It works for everything and with everything. Via MPTD (Mobile Phone Tools Deluxe) and both/either Bluetooth or USB I can link with outlook contacts/calendar, skins, ringtones, wallpapers and games (if need anymore) and all my stored media content (pics/vids) plus I have automatic replacement by Cingular if it does not work. Why shop outside of the Manufacturer/Provider bracket. I am not saying E-Bay is bad but I know a lot of people who live in trailer parks that their only source of income is via E-Bay trades/shams or however you want to look at it. Before you ask, yes I have purchased from E-Bay myself and more than once but I am very leery of doing so and go for full history of merchandise before purchase. remember some people are there to make the quick money and then you have the business that wants to stay in business and provide service and yes make a profit but everyone that sells wants to do that but do they all count on you as a returning customer. Just a thought. ;-) SurferOne "The Info Nut Cruising Through"

This was gift by the way. Thanks for you input. : -- k1mr ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Cell Phone Forums: http://cellphoneforums.ne View this thread: http://cellphoneforums.net/t196303.htm
Re: Motorola V3 no internet connect Posted: 12-18-2005, 09:44 PM Make sure you have the correct settings in Web Sessions installed andthat they are set as the default. Without them it won't work. You need the settings listed at www.motomodders.net under Downloads: Web Sessions then scroll to the bottom for the unlocked Cingular file. You may need to register but it's free and there's a ton of good info there. Re: Motorola V3 no internet connect Posted: 12-23-2005, 02:12 AM You can use Motokit or P2K which are there too. If you can get thesettings in text form you can just add them to your phone throught the keypad. Also, if you call Cingular and ask them to upload the GPRS settings they can do it over the air.
