T-Mobile has the best deal that I can find. Give them $100 and your phone is
on for a whole year and the cost is 10 cents a minute nation wide. Once
you're past the $100 mark, all your minute purchases are good for a year.
Maybe not the best coverage, but I sure like it and I travel all over the
states.

Have you compared T-Mobile to Net10? Net10 is always ten cents a minute, I
think.

I think you'll find that Net10 will make you add minutes every so often to
keep your service and your number. With T-Mobile, as long as you've put in
$100 total, you won't lose your service for a whole year whether you add
more minutes or not. Of course if you run out of minutes, I think the
service and your number would disappear, but you could always just add $10.
I like T-Mobile because I work about 6 months of the year in the US and the
rest of the time I'm in Canada. I don't have to worry about adding minutes
to keep my service going. Phone's no good in Canada though and service is
pretty poor in MT and the Dakotas. Guess it would depend on where you live
and where you'd use it.

Net10 wants $300 to keep it turned on for a year or half that for 6 months.
I don't think I use mine enough to justify that. The coverage is way better
though and I'll sure keep it in mind.
