Re: transferring phots from V220 with MPT...

Hello,
Please can someone help me?

I have just purchased a USB cable and Mobile Phone Tools software to
transfer pictures from my V220 phone to my PC.

I installed the software as per the instructions on screen and everything
seemed to be going well.
At the appropriate time I connected the phone and it was detected - correct
model number and phone number.

However, when clicking on any of the on-screen buttons (or icons in the menu
bar) the programme just closes.
This happens when I clicked on the send SMS button or on the multimedia
button.

Another strange thing is this: when I click on the numbers on the phone
image on the PC screen to dial a number, the phone itself always dials out
using the number in memory position 6. (whatever number I dial on screen- I
tried several)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled but to no avail. I just don't know where
else to go for help. The help on the MPT CD doesn't get into trouble
shooting and there is nothing on the Motorola website that seems to be
helpful to me.
The company that I bought the cable from do not offer any support - they
just sell!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am so disappointed,
everything looked as if it was going to work.
