*REALLY* old Motorola "Personal Phone"

Posted: 10-29-2005, 04:09 PM
Ok
Challenge time.

I have a very old Motorola "Personal Phone" that I am trying to find out
about

It's just a phone........no additions, no add ons, no radio/address
book/calendar etc etc.

It bears the model number F09SQD8913BA
A sticker under the battery area has MC2 (As in MC Squared)

Anyone any ideas?

Nope,

The one I have is about 62 long, 3" wide. It's Grey
Has "Personal Phone" printed above the keypad and Motorola printed under the
keypad
Alongside the keypad vertically is a series of LED's in a row. Top is Red,
then amber, then green and green for power behind a clear plastic lens.
Bottom under numbers is PWR SEND C/End in blue buttons
Under the battery is MC2 (MC Squared)

Hmmmmmmm,

This phone was originally used in UK, (0374 number start) so would it still
be useful in the countries that use the NMT network?
Assuming it could be reactivated.

AFAIK there are no NMT networks in use anywhere. Frequencies have been taken
over by CDMA and others...
