Moto code unlock

Hi everyone.

I got told today by a technical guy at a Major US cell carrier tha
there are programs out there that can generate unlock codes for al
Motorola phones, new & old.

Does anyone know what these programs are and where to get hold o
them!! I'm told they are code generators and NOT cable solutions!!
