v3 wallpaper question

Posted: 10-26-2005, 04:21 PM
i just flashed my v3 from a cingular flex to t-mobile flex

a picture i previously used as wallpaper now enlarges on the t-mobile flex
and is too big and out of focus.
i have tried reducing the pixel size and the pixel resolution in photoshop
and reloading but the same thing happens when i set it as wallpaper

any ideas how i fix this
i am wondering if i go back to a cingular flex if that will help

i also notice that the phonebook is different.
in the cingular flex, each entry included the phone number so i got about 3
entries per screen
now the phonebook is one name per line
it's ok like this -- just different

Go to www.zedge.no and use their "Z-Uploader" to fix your wallpaper and
send it to your phone.

you are such a fountain of information............

i don't get the preview of my picture on zedge and when i hit continue i get
a portion of the picture that is not useable

for now i set the picture as wallpaper and centered. if i do 'fill the
screen' it overfills and is out of focus.
i will play with photoshop and add pixel resolution to make it bigger so
when it is centered it will be bigger than it is now - hopefully

thanks for working with me.

haven't played with my friend's v3 to get rid of the chinese characters in
the phonebook.
do you think a language pack will be enough

You could try just a language pack and then flexlash if that doesn't do
it.
