V710 Motorola software to load ringtones, Mp3s...

An update will not do it as OBEX file transfers are blocked in all versions.There are 2 ways to get around this. 1) Insert your transflash card and send a pix msg or ringtone to a fake address / phone#. It will come back rejected, but will allow you to save the images/tones to your phone. OR 2) You need to do a seem edit to your phone. It's takes only about 30 seconds to complete, but you need a USB cable and PST to complete this task. It is not recommended for beginners. After this is done, you can use you transflash card to do what you need.
