I recently got a Motorola Rokr phone and I am wondering if you could
set as a ringtone some of the music files that you downloaded to the
phone. If so, how? Thanks in advance for the help.

It takes a little finagling, but yes you can do it. If you have a
CLEAN mp3 file--that is without a lot of juked-up resource files
embedded and such as that you can simply put it in your "audio" folder
on your phone via bluetooth. Then select it as your ringtone.
I take an mp3 of a tune, say an old rock song. I load it into a audio
editing program (on my Mac it's Sibilius or Logic, but it could be any
such program). I whittle it into the 20-second or so sequence that I
want, delete the rest. Save the remaining audio as an mp3 file. Drag
it into the audio folder via blue tooth. Select is as ringtone.
The end.
Since you posted this in October I don't assume you'll read this, but
mabye someone else will.
