Mobile phone tools 3.25: Bluetooth AND USB?

I use Bluetooth to connect to my v.551 and it usually works fairly well
but a bit slowly. I have purchased a USB cable but when I have tried to
find a "modem", there is no selection for my phone. Is there something
else that I must do? Also, is it possible to use two different methods
of connecting to the same phone? (not at the same time, but is it
possible to have the option of using either one?)
