Dropped V3 Razr

Well, I knew that I would drop the phone at some point, as seems to happen
with every new cell phone that I buy.

I was carrying my Motorola V3 phone in my breast pocket, and dropped some
papers. As I gathered them, the phone fell out of the pocket onto a hardwood
floor. It fell only a little more than 1 foot, I would say.

I realise that I am being a bit jumpy about taking care of the phone, since
I just bought it. But, just to allay my fears, is there any possibility of
damage to the phone or any way to check?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
