Motorola RAZR - Problem

Posted: 09-17-2005, 03:49 PM

Have had the following problems with the phone:

Image has gone from the front screen.
Inside screen flashes on and off
Inside screen fragments
Switches on and off.

Was told by Carphone Warehouse that this is a software issue and varie
with the software provided. I'm with O2. Difficult to send it away, a
it is my work phone ...

Any suggestions other than bin it and go back to Nokia?

If that's the case then it's faulty and should be repaired/replaced.
How long ago did you buy the phone? If less than a year I'd try
persuading CPW (if that's where you purchased it) to give you a
replacement outright as it's obviously unusable through an inherent
fault (as they themselves have admitted). Failing that, push for a
loan phone while your V3 is being repaired. Speak to the store manager
- they can be surprisingly flexible if they think they may be losing a
customer.
