alright, I have had enough of "get it now". It's more like get hosed now.
What do I need to do and buy if I want to make and install my own ringtones
on my verizon v710?

(I posted this in response to another query of yours as well)
VERIZON FOLKS:
>find a midi file
>save it to your hard drive
>edit it to under 60 seconds with software like that found free o www.anvilstudio.com
>go to www.vzwpix.com
>open an account and choose the "upload media" tab
>upload the one you want (and do a bunch of others too just 'cause yo
can)
>create a message - I like to give myself a full 60 seconds on th
slide show for each ringer
>send it to yournumber@vzwpix.com
>when you get it you have the choice of "saving as a ringtone"...
OR
Another method.... use your puter to save it to your transflash card
create a message to an unusable number (555-555-5555 for example) an
insert the file. The message will fail - but when you browse th
ringtones next time you'll find the one you tried to send' on the lis
of available choices ... you can delete the fake message from you
outbox
