Motorola V3 & Parrot CK

Posted: 09-12-2005, 03:04 PM
Hi all

I have a Parrot CK3000 bluetooth kit installed in my car, which never
caused a problem when pairing with previous phones. However, I cannot
get the V3 to pair/bond with it.

I do everything I think I am supposed to and the phone does pick up
that there is a Parrot device. But when I enter the pair code on the
phone, it just keeps seeking for the Parrot device.

Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

I have already powered down the Parrot by removing the fuse and done a
'soft' reset on the phone by removing the battery.

I hear that there is an update for the V3. Where can I get this?

TIA

Simon C

Have you checked out the parrot web site?

Ther are detailed instructions for various phones - such as the D500
which needs authorisation set on the handset onece the paring ins
completed. might be something "special" for the V3

Thanks Tym

I've had to order a serial and power cable for the Parrot and will have
to update the firmware.

The annoying thing is that the version I have can't be flashed by
bluetooth.

Cheers
