That's a tough call, as everyone has different ideas of 'need' and it
also depends on the flex/firmware in the phone.

With the recent 42.08R firmware and my current flex (GTMV3x000AALV0C3)
most things already work as I'd like. All I've done so far is:

offset 24 - bit 2: Press & Hold 1 to Autodial Voice Mail Number
[set ON, as it worked originally but was disabled at some point]

offset 2F - bit 7: Time to hold power button down to power on phone (1
instant, 0 press and hold). I much prefer the "instant-on" option.

Additionally I had to set a couple of bits to complete the enabling of
the video camera feature; see my post

I'd like to customise the menus to my personal liking but for now am
contenting myself with studying the SEEM map at
<http://www.xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt> and reading the MotoModder forums to
pluck up the courage! :-).
