V300 volume

speakerphone works fine. I've tried adjusting the volume using the buttons
on the side but this seems to make no difference. Anyone any ideas before I
throw it at the wall?

Take the top flip apart to get at the earpeice and cleaning the contacts, but ya, V300 is pretty old, V635 time ;-)
