The newest s/ version will run fine and only run on 8.23. Flash with the BL 1st the flash the new s/w. Even if you don't and your phone says it still ha BL 7. whatever, it has in fact been updated but is not shown properl unless you do the BL flash. Just remember, once you go up, you can' go back. Anytime you flash, it does not touch settings, pics, tones, interne sessions, seem updates, yada yada.
