When I had a sanyo from sprint I could abbrev dial, just the last 4 digits
of the number, I cannot seem to find this on the V3, can you do seem edit
to get the function and how tricky are seem edits, haven't attempted one
yet? Thanks.

I haven't heard of that feature for Motorola phones. There is single
digit "Turbo Dial" that works for 8 numbers. There is a reflash upgrade
at www.motox.us that will give you a multicharacter search function
which is much better than the stock single character search. If you're
careful SEEMS edits are not difficult. Do read all the tutorials and
links at www.motomodders.net first though. Motokit is a nice program for
doing the edits.
