The ones that come with the phone remain but the ones you d/l go - at
least according to the manual. Only SIM contents are untouched. I'm
basing this on what the manual says. It could be wrong or incomplete.
I'd backup everything to be sure.

Back up for sure, but I am pretty sure the Java stays, even the downloaded
ones.
