V 551 comments?

ive had my v551 since xmass and love it.
no problems at all, i even use the usb cable to transfer things around and
hex edit.
alls good.

I've had a v551 for about 6 months and like it a lot.

The camera is an extra and produces poor results, good only in ad-hoc
situations like showing what a piece of furniture looks like to the wife.

Have not had any battery life problems others have experienced. Took it on
a 6-day golf trip to LV and it was only two "clicks" down after four days.
It probably could have made it, but I had taken my charger and topped it
off.

What I found is that the BlueTooth is the most useful feature (other than
phone calls). The Mobile Phone Tools is o.k., but I find that I skip using
it most of the time. You need a BlueTooth "dongle" for your PC, but the
phone intrinsicly knows what to do with files that you send to it (and the
PC knows how to deal with files going the other way) including photos,
sounds, phonebook entries, and calendar items.

If you want to do multiple items in one session, the MPT is better. It came
with a USB cable, but works much better via BlueTooth. The USB cable
hook-up must be done in a specific sequence or the connection doesn't happen
.... I just don't bother using it any more.

V551 is one of our best sellers with very few returns or problems.
Bluetooth is one of the best selling points. Did you know that the
v551 'guts' are the same as the Razr v3? this means reliable.

If you get yourself a usb cable, hook it up to the phone, familiarize
yourself with a couple of progs for Motorola "fiddling around" and
you can do virtually anything to the phone... that's the beauty of
recent Motorola models :-))

If you get yourself a usb cable, hook it up to the phone, familiarize
yourself with a couple of progs for Motorola "fiddling around" and
you can do virtually anything to the phone... that's the beauty of
recent Motorola models :-))

I also like all of the features, and I've had no problems. The only
thing I haven't figured out is how to attach a specific ringer to a
caller that calls me frequently. So I woudn't have to look at the
phone to know who is calling. Plus I've misplaced the manual..
