A630 has a web form bug

A little help please cause I can't believe this...

On my A630 under T-mobile, if I go to wap sites like mobile.yahoo.com
or wap.google.com. Once on a input form, at position zero, I am unable
to get the phone to change that first digit to upper or lower case. The
result is, I can't log in to many web based sites with lower case
passwords!

Is this a bug or yet another feature guaranteed to send the phones back
to Motorola?

Leave it the engineers at Motorola to design a phone so close to
perfect in concept that you feel like crying that you have to return
the worthless piece of #$@@#$..

Curious, anybody drop the phone yet.. after a week mine feels like it's
going to come apart. What bothers me most is how much tighter the
useless LG9000 looks and feels.

Not that if fixes the phone but if you had to you could always change your
passwords.

Not that if fixes the phone but if you had to you could always change your
passwords.

Have you tried just typing in the password (doubling the first letter),
then going back and deleting the first capped letter?

I have an A630, and do not have this problem with auto-caps. I can enter
either a cap or lower case letter as needed on mobile.yahoo.com to
login.

I don't know about the quality of the phone: I'm on my third one (the
first two had hardware failures after about a week). Third one is
working like a charm, knock on wood...

Kevin, you go to http://mobile.yahoo.com and are able to enter your
user ID in all lower? With the password it's tricky to tell since you
can't see the text, but will tell you on my phone if the passwords
starts with lower, there is no way to enter it ..

I am able to log in when I change my password to all CAPs.

After sending the email I did a test with wap.google.com's search

I've logged into my Yahoo account on mobile.yahoo.com, and my password's
all lower case. Don't know why you're having problems - I don't have any
problem with first letter being lower case, either. Weird stuff.

I'd recommend a "reset" of your phone: Menu>Settings>Initial Setup>
Master Reset (reset code is 000000). Solved my problem with voice
dialing working when the clamshell was open, but not when it was closed.

This phone's got some "issues", I think...

I've logged into my Yahoo account on mobile.yahoo.com, and my password's
all lower case. Don't know why you're having problems - I don't have any
problem with first letter being lower case, either. Weird stuff.
