Posts: n/a Re: tracfone motorola V170 I've seen post in dozens of forums on the net asking how to downloa ringtones/wallpapers to this phone. Simply put, YOU CAN'T! I know this because I recently purchased this TracFone and wanted to d just that. After countless hours of reading on the web, checking th manual, and simply banging my head against the wall, I contacte technical support at TRACFONE. Their reply was " you can't, we do no offer that service at this time" Makes sense, if one reads in the manual, it specifies to go to th "browser" option in the menu. there is no "browser" option in th menu.... it doesn't exist yet. and the way it seems from talking wit technical support, there wont be any.I ask whom I could sign up wit for this option and she said" the phone will only work with them, so cannot get this option yet" My advice is to stay away from this phone. The V60i is a better phone and actually has better features once you compare the options of wha actually is available. It's also cheaper and gets a hell of a bette signal (trust me I know, I have both) and the batteries last longer also it sounds clearer. Have doubts? contact technical support and ask them. Somebody shoul sue because they ae advertising something that they do not support o have. PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ALONG THE WEB TO EVERYWHERE YOU CAN, ESPECIALL TO REVIEW PAGES AND SUCH.
