Possibly, but with Netmonitor enabled (easy on older DCT3 handsets, and
possible with a free third-party add on on Series 60 handsets) you'll have
far more versatility and the same functionality.

Oh yes it bloody well will. Any handset will show you what networks are
available at your location using manual network selection.
