Posts: n/a Very good question. I also have a V551 and have heard it uses power i you leave it on. But like you, I find going through the menus to tur it on or off is very annoying. Is there a way to set up a hot key? I noticed on my V330 that you can assign a voicetag to a shortcut, but there is no info in the manual on how you actually invoke the shortcut.
