e398 trans flash memory

if i take a photo and then store it and then change the storage location to
"TRANS" then hook up the phone via USB the photos do not appear anywhere on
the transflash card
i checked
mobile/pictures
also there is a movie in the mobile/video folder when i look on my pc when
the phone is hooked u via USB
however on the phone there is no movies in downloads > video
can anyone give me a crash course in using the flash memory?
