V3 with Parrot CK3100 carkit

Posted: 03-02-2005, 08:06 PM
Anybody using a V3 with a Parrot CK3100 car kit?
Got it paired up fine but the phonebook doesn't work properly.
As the Motorla uses a contact for each phone number (as opposed to each name
as most phones do) the thing synchonises and you get 3 or 4 entries with the
same name and the only way to find out which is which is to dial it. It
doesn't transfer across the number type information (home/cell/work/fax) so
it also can't use the keyword functions.

Am I doing something wrong or is this how it works?
I've gone back to using my old S/// Z600 for the moment as it works
perfectly.

Thanks in anticipation.
