Motorola V551 System Selection

Oh well, it wasn't so easy. Stinkin' Cingular tells me that my phone i
"pre-ENS" (manufactured before 15-Nov-2004), so they cannot change th
system selection preference. What the hell? Here I am with a 4 year ol
PacBell SIM and I can change systesms, but Cingular SIMs someho
require a brand-new phone! So I call up the equipment provider
LetsTalk.com, and they tell me no way can they guarantee me a phon
that was manufactured after a particular date. So I'm SOL. Yes, I trul
hate Cingular, but most of my friends are unfortunately Cingula
customers

How is this Cingular's fault? If you had bought the phone from Cingular, then
you could have simply returned it within the grace period and/or exchanged it
for a new phone. No offense, but you need to take responsibility for your own
actions.
